What happens at a baptism at St Luke’s?
At St Luke’s, Fr Michael Thompson, the parish priest, or Rev. Joseph Morgan, the parish deacon, baptise by pouring water on the head of the candidate while saying the Trinitarian formula for Baptism: ‘I baptise you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’
Baptisms take place at 11am on Saturdays, at St Luke’s church, by appointment.
If you would like to have your baby or child baptised, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch by completing the form below. For any enquiries, please email us at stluke@rcaol.org.uk.
